Sparky Brewery

Self-initiated brand identity — strategy, packaging, motion. 2025.

        The Objective

A self-initiated project exploring how a single brand idea could evolve into a complete craft beer identity. Built around the thought that beer is a reason to gather, I developed the concept through positioning, identity, packaging, and motion to demonstrate an end-to-end branding process.
        The Challenge
Craft beer isn't sold on the product anymore; for the 21–35 market it's sold on the experience and the independent identity around it. The brief I set myself: make a brand that feels like a local social hub, not another shelf SKU.

The Solution
I approached it as a go-to-market problem, not just an identity. The audience — 21–35, drawn to independent brands and experience over product — pointed to a launch built on social. So the system is designed to sell there: a warm, retro-bold identity and bear mascot that hold from bottle to feed, carousel content structured to convert (hook → story → an open question that drives community), and a 15-second motion reel as the scroll-stopping launch asset. Every piece is built to earn attention and turn it into a reason to buy.

Insights & Discoveries

Market data from 2024 reveals that craft beer is no longer just about the product—it is about the experience. For the 21–35 demographic, breweries have become essential social hubs that prioritize local production and independent identity. Even among non-traditional craft drinkers, there is a growing demand for spaces that offer a sense of community and authentic connection.

Carousel Design
I designed these social media carousels to drive engagement through a structured user journey. Each sequence begins with a high-impact hook to capture attention, followed by digestible content that breaks down the Sparky experience. Every carousel ends with an open-ended question to encourage community participation and move the conversation from the screen to the brewery.
